Gods correction begins with Katartizin – in Greek it means to restore, Galatians 6:1 “restore a brother taken in a fault.”

Christian discipline was never meant to be a retribution, its not vengeance. Discipline is meant to mend a person like something damaged.
Discipline in Christ is focused on the need and problems of the offender, not on the suffering of the offended. We must learn how to die to offense. When we do we become powerful weapons in God’s hands to change our world.
